Celebrating Environment Day 2025: A Green Step Towards a Better Tomorrow at Srisai

On 5th June 2025, Srisai Degree and PG College marked World Environment Day with a vibrant and meaningful plantation drive on campus. With saplings in hand and a shared sense of purpose, students and faculty came together to celebrate the Earth—and to contribute, in their own way, to its future.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both staff and students, transforming the college grounds into a hub of green activity. What began as a simple plantation effort quickly turned into a joyful community experience. Laughter echoed across the campus as participants rolled up their sleeves, dug into the soil, and planted young saplings with care and hope.

It wasn’t just an activity—it was a reminder. A reminder of our shared responsibility to protect and preserve the natural world. The act of placing a tiny plant into the soil became symbolic of larger goals: sustainability, awareness, and action.

More than just a routine observance, the event stood out for the spirit it carried. The simple joys of getting one’s hands muddy, working side by side with peers, and nurturing new life created a cheerful, almost festive atmosphere. By the end of the day, the campus was not only greener but also richer in unity and purpose.

The Environment Day celebrations at Sri Sai College served as an inspiring reminder that change begins with small actions—and that every sapling planted today is a promise for a cleaner, healthier tomorrow.
