Sri Sai Degree College proudly celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day on August 15, 2025, with great enthusiasm and national pride. The event brought together students, faculty, and staff to honour the nation’s freedom and the sacrifices of its heroes, fostering a deep sense of unity, patriotism, and cultural pride.
The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem, filling the campus with patriotic energy. The program featured a variety of engaging activities, including essay writing, elocution, rangoli competitions, and Bhagavad Gita sloka recitation, all designed to inspire students to reflect on India’s rich heritage and values.
Participants showcased remarkable creativity and passion, expressing their love for the nation through words, art, and performance. The winners of the competitions were felicitated with prizes and certificates in recognition of their talent and effort.
The event also included patriotic songs and motivational speeches by faculty members and students, emphasizing the importance of freedom, responsibility, and national unity. The celebrations beautifully embodied the theme of “Unity in Diversity,” reminding everyone of the strength that lies in India’s cultural and communal harmony.
The day concluded with heartfelt cheers of “Jai Hind!”, leaving the audience inspired and proud to be part of a nation that continues to uphold the ideals of freedom, peace, and progress.
