As part of its ongoing commitment to student safety and emergency preparedness, Sri Sai Degree & PG College organized a Mock Fire Drill on the college premises on 11th March 2026.
The drill was conducted with the support of a trained team from the Telangana Fire Safety Department, who provided a live demonstration on fire prevention techniques, emergency response procedures, and safe evacuation methods during fire-related incidents. The team explained the importance of quick thinking, proper use of fire extinguishers, and the necessary precautions to minimize risks during fire accidents.
Through practical demonstrations, students were guided on how to respond effectively in emergency situations, including identifying fire hazards, following escape routes, and assisting others during evacuation.
Students from all academic streams actively participated in the drill and gained valuable knowledge about fire safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and responsible action during critical situations.
The program served as an important initiative to educate students about safety practices and to build confidence in handling emergencies, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to creating a safe and responsible campus environment.
